About Matrix Code Copyright (MCC)

What is MCC?

Matrix Code Copyright (MCC) is a revolutionary system designed to provide robust, verifiable protection for your digital intellectual property. Unlike traditional copyright methods that might rely on centralized databases or public registrations, MCC operates on an advanced offline registration system, ensuring the utmost privacy and control over your digital creations.

At its core, MCC assigns a unique cryptographic identifier—the "Matrix Code"—to each registered digital file. This code acts as an unalterable, verifiable fingerprint of your work, permanently linking your digital creation to you as its rightful author.

Our Core Mission & How It Works

Our mission at MCC is to empower creators by giving them the full right to declare that their work—whether an image, video, written text, design, audio, or concept—is theirs alone.

MCC does not upload, own, or store your original digital file. Instead, we protect its unique digital fingerprint—the Matrix Code. This ensures that your valuable creative work remains entirely private and under your control.

The Matrix Code is meticulously generated to be uncopyable, unalterable, and immune to unauthorized claims. MCC's secure, offline registration system is designed to maintain protection without relying on an internet connection.

Legal Value & Digital Proof

MCC is a private registration system and not a direct substitute for government copyright registrations such as those with the U.S. Copyright Office.

The Matrix Code, coupled with your License of Ownership and official MCC.ID, provides digital evidence that can be utilized in various legal contexts, including:

  • Dispute Resolution: Providing clear, timestamped proof of authorship in intellectual property disputes.
  • Sales and Licensing: Enhancing the credibility and value of your digital assets in commercial transactions.
  • Contractual Agreements: Serving as a verifiable reference point in agreements related to your work.
  • Protection Actions: Empowering you to take action against misuse, unauthorized copying, or theft of your digital file.

MCC conducts reviews of submitted materials and may request additional evidence such as drafts, metadata, screenshots, or AI prompt logs if applicable.

Privacy and Control

At MCC, privacy and creator control are fundamental principles. The system is designed so that the digital file's content is not stored or transmitted by MCC. The unique digital fingerprint, the Matrix Code, is what is registered.

  • Your Original File Stays With You: MCC does not upload, own, or keep your original file.
  • Offline Registration: Protection is maintained through an offline registration system.
  • Authenticity & Control: The Matrix Code provides proof of registration while the creator maintains control of the digital asset.

MCC states that it is committed to transparent practices and safeguarding intellectual property with digital security and privacy.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Matrix Code?

A Matrix Code is a unique, cryptographic identifier—a digital fingerprint—assigned to your registered digital file by Matrix Code Copyright (MCC). This code serves as an unalterable proof of your work's existence and your authorship at a specific date and time. It cannot be copied, altered, or falsely claimed by anyone else without being flagged as invalid, providing a robust and traceable link to your original creation.

How does MCC protect my digital file?

MCC protects your digital file by registering its unique Matrix Code within its secure, offline system. MCC does not store the actual file; instead, it records its cryptographic fingerprint and links it to the verified identity of the creator.

The offline, decentralized approach is described as safeguarding intellectual property without exposing the original file to online threats.

Is MCC a substitute for U.S. government copyright?

No. MCC is a private digital asset registration system and is not a substitute for formal U.S. government copyright registration, such as registration with the U.S. Copyright Office.

MCC states that its Matrix Code, License, TIV Ticket and MCC.ID can provide digital evidence of authorship and creation date.

What types of digital files can I register with MCC?

MCC supports a wide range of digital file types, including:

  • Artwork / Images — JPG, PNG, GIF
  • Written Text — PDF, DOCX, TXT
  • Videos / Films / Animations — MP4, MOV
  • Audio / Music / Podcasts — MP3, WAV
  • Software / Source Code / AI Models
  • Mixed Media — DRM Bundles
What are the benefits of registering with MCC?

Registering with MCC provides multiple stated benefits:

  • Indisputable Proof of Authorship
  • Enhanced Security & Privacy
  • Timed Incremental Valuation (TIV)
  • Legal Leverage
  • Traceability
  • Empowerment
How is my privacy handled by MCC?

Privacy is described as a cornerstone of MCC's design.

  • No File Uploads: MCC does not upload, store, or retain the original digital file.
  • Offline Registration: The system is described as operating largely offline.
  • Creator Control: The digital asset remains under the creator's control.
What is TiV (Timed Incremental Valuation)?

Timed Incremental Valuation (TiV) is described as a feature of the MCC system that allows registered digital assets to accrue monetary value over time.

When a file is registered, a valuation category such as "Registered," "Verified," "Audited," or "Digital Collectible" may determine its stated daily value growth rate.

The valuation is tracked and can be referenced for sales, insurance, and other financial considerations.

Can I modify my registered digital file?

The Matrix Code is generated based on the exact state of the file at the time of registration. Therefore, modifications can alter the unique Matrix Code.

Significant modifications may need to be handled through MCC so that updates can be properly re-registered and linked to the original ownership.

Can I transfer ownership of my MCC-registered file?

Yes. The uploaded MCC information states that ownership can be transferred through a formal "MCC Transfer Contract."

The contract is described as establishing a documented chain of ownership. Both the original creator/owner and new owner must complete and sign the contract.

What evidence do I need for registration?

MCC encourages supporting evidence for an authorship claim. Examples include:

  • Metadata associated with the file
  • Screenshots of the creative process
  • Sketches or drafts
  • Video recordings of the creation process
  • AI prompt logs, if AI software was used
  • Personal journal or concept notes
What if my MCC-registered file is misused or stolen?

MCC describes its system as giving creators documentation that can be used to support action if a registered file is misused, copied without authorization, or stolen.

The Matrix Code, License of Ownership and MCC.ID are described as documentation that can support cease-and-desist orders, takedown notices and other legal recourse.

Important Notice for All Customers

When you register your digital file with MCC, the price displayed from your uploaded file is the price you will have to pay with a MCC Transfer Contract if another person wants to buy the digital file. You must have a valid MCC ID and complete a formal MCC Transfer Contract / Transfer License & 3 keys to transfer ownership. This display is for all customers. Once the MCC Transfer Contract is fully executed and both parties have verified their MCC IDs, the ownership of the digital asset is officially updated within the MCC system. Before any trade can take place, both the seller and the buyer must present a valid Transfer License (TL) along with the required three keys. These three keys, combined with the Transfer License, are mandatory for any ownership transfer of a registered digital asset. If a person wishes to purchase a digital item that is already registered under another individual’s name, they must provide the three keys, a valid Transfer License, and a completed MCC Transfer Contract. The same requirements apply to the current owner. Only when both parties supply the three keys, the Transfer License, and the signed Transfer Contract can the transfer be authorized and permanently recorded within the MCC system. the same rules also apply to a payloaded file with users names attached to the claimed digital asset or physical asset.
